Hey, Y'all! This week went by really fast. I didn’t truly pay much attention to working on my virtues because I’ve worried too much on my grades. The main reason for this is because next week is the end of the grading period. One thing I don’t understand is why teachers give us exams at last minute (not you Ms. Torres). Hopefully, that’ll bring my grade up. Anyhow, looking back, I’ve noticed my failure for procrastination. Our book critique was assigned, briefly, on the first day of school and still decided to leave it for the final moment. How senseless of me.
Determination. Well on that I guess I was resolute to try to finish my book critique on Friday. Luckily, the due date for our book critique was postponed to Monday. So, yay!!!
When it comes to assertiveness, I actually have no idea how to progress on this. Thus, if any of you have suggestions/advice please comment down below.

Hi, I hope you can raise your grade and also it is good that you are trying to focus on procrastination. Procrastination is a very big problem for everyone. In order to beat it we need to have a plan to get all your work done in a timely fashion. Setting due dates is a good way to do this especially for big assignments like the book critique. For me I was able to finish the book critique a week before it was due because I set a deadline that I was to finish the book by the end of September and write a preliminary draft by the first week of October. ReplyDeleteThat picture is really funny. Like you, I have been too focused on my grades to think about my virtues. Also, I barely had time to do my book critique as well. I think you should pick a time, and everyday read about 10 minutes of your book. It is going to have a better result if you read it little by little so you can understand what is going on. This quarter, start your book right away so you have enough time. :)
