😕Starting Off😕

Hi everyone! I’m back, but with more status on determination and a bit of procrastination than assertiveness for this week. This week started off with no school on Monday, which gave me an energetic boost for the rest of the week. On Tuesday, I came home, and I felt so tired to the point that I couldn’t do any more work. But I knew that I needed to do my homework and I couldn’t just slack off. So, I decided to take a 20-minute nap and finish off my homework, while working in increments of 45 minutes. That way I was able to finish my homework without worrying about finishing it the next day. But what really tested me was the next day. On Wednesday, by the time I got home, I didn’t have time to take a break or a nap. This caused me to start right away and this actually helped me improve my procrastination virtue. This important part is that if I continue doing this and making it a habit then, in the long run, I won’t postpone large school projects.

  1. Hi Trisha, great blog. Procrastination is something all teens can relate to. Personally, it is a huge problem for me. No matter what I do, I always leave things for the last minute. You're making good progress by being able to start your homework right away after school. I find that very impossible since I'm always so tired. If you persevere, you'll have an overall better work ethic.
Love the picture by the way.

  2. Thank you, Emma. It is kind of rough at the beginning, but once you get the hang of it, it won't be that difficult.
