I expected so much work for this week, especially when coming back from Thanksgiving Break. But luckily, that wasn’t what happened. I actually have no idea how I worked on any of my virtues. Which is very surprising to the fact that one of my virtues is determination. Guess I should’ve been more determined on improving to be a slightly good person. Get it? Anyways, that was pretty much what this week was really about. Never mind, I forgot about Friday. Friday was a special day for the Euro Challenge people. 10 of us had a chance to go to FIU and literally miss a whole day of school.  Even better, we got to leave about 1 to 2 hours before school actually ended that day. Yay! And Emma made that day extra special! See ya later!

This week be pretty chill. All we had was really two days of school and work. So, there wasn’t really much procrastinating to work on. Actually, there was. During Thanksgiving Break, I had the opportunity to finish my homework earlier and enjoy the rest of the weekend. Which, in fact, worked out. Yay me! On the other hand, I had no idea how to improve my determination and assertiveness this week. But that’s fine; I have many more weeks to come. Going back, Wednesday was not at all what I expected. We got time off of school to socialize with friends, which was nice. See you guys on Monday. Enjoy your times with family. Be thankful for everything you got. Happy Thanksgiving!

😢Was It Really "Emotional Roller-Coaster #2" ?😢

This week was great! If you didn’t get it, that was supposed to sound sarcastic. Well, it could’ve been amazing for others. On the other hand, from midway until the end of the week was absolutely depressing. When we were choosing our groups for our English project, I was like the fourth member accepted into a certain group. Guess what happened after? You guessed right (or not), I was KICKED OUT! Although I will not name names, I will tell you guys the cause for such an act. The motive was that they wanted an equal number of both genders. I also did notice a few students being left out; that was probably why Ms. Gonzalez changed her mind about choosing groups. Even after that, we had the opportunity to trade with others. Anyways, if we talk about assertiveness, I never really speaking my mind out, even if it’s fighting for something. I’m pretty sure that didn’t play out in the scenario above. Now, in terms of determination, I guess I was determined to study for a Greek vocabulary quiz ...

It’s the first week of the second grading period. After what happened last week, I’m trying to push myself harder to accomplish the goals I will set later on. A friend told me that when we reward ourselves for accomplishing anything, it should be visual rather than mental. I’ve tried it out last week and she was true. This way I will be able to be more determined. Since this tactic won’t work for improving my assertiveness, I’ve attempted to merely speak my mind out. Obviously not disrespectful opinions, even though they torture me a lot. Procrastination is not a simple issue to fix in one day. It takes time and effort to make such progress. I’ve decided to manage my time from the point I get home until I hit the hay.
